Dr. Breanna Powell is blessed to have the opportunity to create beautiful smiles for people of all ages in West Michigan. She has had the pleasure of treating over 10,000 patients at Powell Orthodontics and is proud to be able to continue the family practice for years to come. When you are in the office, you can guarantee that she will treat you or your child as part of her family and deliver the best care possible. Her goal is to create smiles that last a lifetime and to make the journey to an amazing smile fun and enjoyable.
She was born and raised in Hudsonville, MI. She attended Hope College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry in 2010. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014 and continued her education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where she earned her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2016.
Breanna supports many local community events, contributes to school fundraisers, and attends many charity events with her colleagues several times a year to support local causes. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Kent County Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, West Michigan Dental Society, American Dental Association, and is involved in the New Dentist Forum to keep up with the most advanced dental innovations.
Dr. Bre resides in Hudsonville with her husband, Aaron, her daughters, Leyton, Sadie, and Mia, and their crazy dog, Flynn. Dr. Powell passed on his love of golf to her, so she enjoys spending time on the course when she can, but most of the time you will find her chasing around her three little girls and making memories.
